Life 

This early dawn 

Flashed a spark in mind

As I read a book on hermits

Oh! Why do we exist

Just for the heck of it ?

Isn't there more ...

True being alive is basic 

Knowing the inner conscious core next

And becoming more aware spiritually 

Focus on that state of mind

Knowledge of oneness of soul

That supreme Energy that drives 

All is one and the same in all beings..

Is knowing that enough..

Delving on that furthermore and further

There will come a point 

Where having merger of thoughts 

Core energy source 

No looking back then

As we Integrate intermingling 

And assimilation of soul happens

With psychic and emotional 

Fusing of oneness

Path of our Spiritual purpose realized

Cycle of life becomes complete 

Going beyond birth and death 

We reach the point from where 

Started Journey of life and be

A pure onlooker as events unfold..

Invoking Gods - is it just a tool ?

God is the most abused word 

In the world, said Osho.

Not untrue. Must also be the

Most used tool by society from

Time immemorial which are

Used to unify

People for various ends

Genuine seekers of truth 

Were there all along history 

God concept unified people

In large numbers and with no other

Would have been possible . . 

Shouldn't the ends justify means?

Needless to say, people working 

together is the goal..

For a suffering man and woman

Handle do they need to hold onto life

They Not cared for theism or atheism,  

To hold onto their beliefs and keep alive 

Their hopes of better tomorrows

Who can find fault and call it

Obnoxious and superstitious 

To deny even this invocation 

Of such a power though imaginary 

Even When in dire straits 

By common folks is more of a crime

Take this or leave it aside.

And exploitation happened all along 

With interplay of politico religious 

Forces..none can hide that too.

Zen - living in the moment is bliss

Living moment to moment is zen

Thoughtless state makes meditation 

Combining the two is bliss 

Pleasure seeking is natural 

Zen evokes joyfulness

Without effort & at no cost

Why do we need external tool

Achieving joy internally  

While drinking tea 

Drink only tea with

Nothing inside mind

Is simple zen technique 

Extension zen to thoughtlessness

Is a tool to bring

Blissful state of mind

Now the West mastering the art

Lagging behind is east

Where this discovery was made

Eons ago and still long 

 Way catching up.

Agnostic, theism and atheism 

Identifying with either of these

We become part of that belief 

Better not to get into that

Till we know it firsthand

Middle path is open path

Go explore and meditate upon

Truth will befall any moment 

Journey is as important as the 

Destination..seers would say

Before coming conclusively 

Let us free ourselves from dogmas

Enjoy life sans anything 

Which limit the quest 

For the ultimate truth...

Consciousness  

Thinking of spirituality 

I reckon why what purpose 

Should one have Inner

Practices - is that subjective 

Clarity of thought or

For better grasp of

Universal functions 

Primely it is for neither

Then why Asked myself 

For having glimpses 

Of Consciousness better

Is the motive.

God is everywhere

Brahman is inside 

Maya and Advaita 

Truth is one subliminal 

Not knowing it, is Maya

True, the universe 

Air fire matter

All exist as transient 

Reality is one 

All pervasive and beyond 

Sensory perception 

Supreme energy force

Operates within and without 

Knowing that is liberation 

Opposite is the maya

As many perceives 

Maya is not illusion

Ultimate reality is indestructible

Never die energy and spirit 

within us and everywhere

Life becomes like

Floating when mastered 

This art and as inner flower 

Blossoms going into

Additional dynamics

Is pure paradise 

Here in the earth itself 

Want to lose out ?

Not doing not knowing 

Loss is non doer's

Like saying "love thyself"

Scream out loud

Learn it now 

Before it gets too late
