காந்தி 150 .... காந்தி இன்றும் போற்றப் பட வேண்டுமா... விமர்சனங்களும் விளக்கங்களும் ... காந்தி அவர்களின் 150 வது பிறந்த தினம் கொண்டாடும் இவ்வேளையில் அவரைப் பற்றிய எதிர் மறை  கருத்துக்களுக்கான காந்தி தரப்பு விளக்கங்களை இங்கே பகிர்வது பொருத்தமாக இருக்கும் என நினைக்கிறேன். கோட்ஸே தரப்பு தனது எதிர் வினைகளை பொது வெளியில் மிக அழுத்தமாகவும் வலிமையாகவும் எடுத்து வைத்துக் கொண்டு இருக்கும் இன்றைய காலகட்டத்தில் அவைகள்  கட்டாயமாகத் தேவைப்படுகிறது. எழுபது ஆண்டுகள் பின்னரும் தொடரும் எதிர் மறை விமர்சனங்கள்        காந்தி இறந்து 70 ஆண்டுகள் கடந்தும் கூட ஏன் மிக கடுமையாக விமர்சிக்கப் பட வேண்டும் என்ற கேள்வி இயற்கையாகவே எழுகிறது. நமது சுதந்திரத்திற்கு போராடிய பல தலைவர்கள் இருக்க அவர்கள் எல்லோரையும் விட அதிக எதிர்மறை விமர்சனத்திற்கு ஏன் காந்தி ஆளாக்கப்படுகிறார். அந்த விமர்சனங்கள் எல்லாம் நியாயமானது தானா என்றும் பார்க்க வேண்டிய நேரம் இது.காந்தி மட்டும் இன்றி எந்த ஒரு வரலாற்று கதா பாத்திரத்தையும்  சரியான ஒரு கோணத்தில் விமர்சனத்திற்கு ஆளாக்...

இந்து ஞான மரபில் ஆறு தரிசனங்கள் - ஒரு தொகுப்புப்  பார்வை           திரு ஜெயமோகன் அவர்களின் இந்து ஞான மரபில் ஆறு தரிசனங்கள் என்ற நூலை இரண்டாவது முறையாக படித்தேன். இந்திய தரிசனங்கள் பற்றி அறிய விரும்புவர்களுக்கு நிச்சயமாக ஒரு ஆரம்ப  படி நிலை புத்தகமாக அது இருக்கிறது. எந்தத்  தத்துவ அறிமுகமும்  இல்லாதவர்கள் கூட ஓரளவு எளிதாக புரிந்து கொள்ளும் வண்ணம்  நல்ல தமிழில் சிறப்பாக எழுதப் பட்டு உள்ள ஒரு நூல்.  இதை முதல் முறை வாங்கி படித்து விட்டு வேறொரு நண்பருக்கு பரிசாக கொடுத்த பிறகு, நாம் சரியாக உள் வாங்க வில்லையோ என்ற ஐயத்திலும்,  நாம் சுருங்க தொகுத்து  கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்ற எண்ணத்திலும் மீண்டும் ஒரு முறை படித்தேன். பிறிதொரு வாசிப்பிற்கான தேவை இருக்கக் கூடாது என்பதற்காக இந்த கட்டுரையை முயற்சி செய்கிறேன்.  முக்கிய சில பாகங்களை மட்டும் (என்னுடைய பார்வையில்) இங்கே சுருக்கமாகத் தர முயற்சி செய்து இருக்கிறேன். முன்னுரை          நூலி...

டாக்டர் அம்பேதகர் - நூல் தொகுப்பில் இருந்து - தொகுதி 1  இந்தியாவில் சாதிகள் தோன்றிய   விதம்            சாதி அமைப்பை பற்றிய இந்த பகுதியில் அம்பேதகர், சாதி எப்போது தோன்றி இருக்க கூடும் என்ற ஊகங்களுக்குள் செல்லாமல், அது எந்த வகையில் புழக்கத்திற்கு வந்து இருக்கிறது என்பதை விளக்குகிறார்.             அக மண முறை திருமணம் என்பதே சாதி கட்டமைப்பிற்கு முதல் காரணம் என குறிப்பிடும் அவர், இந்த Endogamous திருமண முறை தீவிரமாக கடை பிடிக்க படுவதால் சாதி அமைப்பு தோன்றியதாகவும், சமூகத்தின் மேல் தட்டில் இருந்த புரோகித அல்லது பிராமண சாதிகள் இந்த அக மண முறையை தோற்றுவித்த பின்னரே மற்ற பிரிவினரும் அவர்களை பார்த்து பின் பற்ற தொடங்கி இருக்கலாம் என கூறுகிறார்.  ஐரோப்பிய ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்கள் சாதி அமைவதற்கு நிறம் பெரும் பங்கு வகிக்கிறது என சொல்லி உள்ளனர். இது ஒரு எளிமையான கற்பனை மட்டுமே என குறிப்பிடும் ஆசிரியர், அதற்கு மாறாக " எல்லா இளவரசர்களும் - ஆரிய மற்றும் திராவிட என்று குறிப்பிட படுபவர்களும்  ஒரே இனத்தவர்கள...

          சற்று இடைவேளைக்குப் பின்  திரு ஜெயமோகன் அவர்கள் எழுதிய காடு மற்றும் கன்னியாகுமாரி  நாவல்கள் படித்தேன்.            கன்னியாகுமாரி நாவலை  ஒரே மூச்சில் படித்து விட்டேன். சாதாரணமாக ஜெயமோகன் அவர்களின் புத்தகங்களில் உள் செல்வது சில நேரங்களில் சற்றே முயற்சி செய்து செல்ல வேண்டும்.(விஷ்ணுபுரம், ரப்பர்) ஆனால் கன்யாகுமாரி பொறுத்த வரையில் மிக எளிதில் புரிந்து கொண்டு படிக்க முடிந்தது. முக்கிய காரணம் அதன் நடை ஒரு வழக்கமான மொழியுடன் இருந்தது. பாதி பக்கங்கள் வரையில் அதிக வட்டார வார்த்தைகள் இல்லாத ஒரு நடை படிக்க மிக எளிதாக இருந்தது.           பாலியல் வன்புணர்வு பற்றிய கன்னியாகுமரி கதை கொஞ்சம் தமிழ் சினிமா பாணியில் இருந்தாலும் சுவாரஸ்யமான ஒன்று. கதையில் பெண் கதாபாத்திரம் தான் முக்கியமாக வரப்போகிறது என்பது ஊகிக்க முடியாமல் கதையின் போக்கு தொடக்கத்தில் அமைந்து இருந்தது. என் பார்வையில் இந்த கதை ஒரு பெண் எப்படி பலாத்காரத்திற்கு ஆளான பின் அதனை...

மரப் பசு - தி ஜா ரா         தி ஜா வின் அம்மா வந்தாள் வாசித்த பின்னர் அவருடைய  மற்றொரு மாஸ்டர் பீஸ் நாவல் மரப்பசு ஆர்வத்துடன் வாங்கி படித்தேன். கதை ஒரு பெண்ணுடைய பார்வையில் இருந்து சொல்ல பட்டு இருந்தது. சற்றே பழைய நடை , 50 வருஷங்களுக்கு முந்தைய களம். உள் நுழைந்து செல்ல கொஞ்சம் கடினமாக இருந்தாலும் , கதை ஓட்டம்  ஒரு கட்டத்தில் நம்மை முழுமையாக இழுத்து கொண்டு விடுகிறது.  தமிழின் முதல் பெண்ணீய கருவை கொண்ட கதை என்று பின்னர் படித்து தெரிந்து கொண்டேன். இன்றும் கூட இவ்வளவு சுதந்திர சிந்தனை கொண்ட பெண்களை காண்பது அரிது தான்.  கதை நாயகி அம்மிணி போல ஒரு பெண் இருந்து வெளியே தெரிந்தால் அவர்களுக்கு என்ன மரியாதையை இன்றைய சமூகம் கொடுக்கும் என்பது தெரிந்ததே.       தஞ்சை மாவட்ட ;பகுதியை சேர்ந்த பிராமண குடும்பத்து பெண், கும்பகோணத்தில் உள்ள அவரது பெரியப்பா வீட்டில் வளர்கிறாள். சிறு வயதில் இருந்தே சுதந்திர சிந்தனையோடு கூடிய புத்திசாலியாகவும் எல்லா வற்றையும் சிரித்த படி எதிர் கொள்ளும் பெண்ணாக வளர்கிறாள். ...

Govt has finalized  the auction procedures without much noise and the same is going on from Jan 19.
